NAUGHTY/NICE is an original holiday-themed musical comedy revue for grown-ups in which four quick-change adult performers (two men, two women) and a pianist bring to life a flurry of children's letters to Santa Claus, written by an assortment of (fictional) misfit kids from around the world.
Subversive and darkly comic, the 90-minute musical seeks to reveal the other side of Christmas — the one where kids' holiday hopes are colored by the shortcomings in their lives, or the programming they've received from adults.
The solos, duets and group numbers, often flirting with musical comedy conventions and pop styles, are theatrical representations of the missives. Although the letters are sometimes outrageous, outlandish and profane, the kid-authors are utterly sincere; they don't think they're funny or wrong at all.

KENNETH JONES

Alabama Story was
a 2014 Finalist in the National Playwrights Conference of the Eugene O’Neill Theater Center. It received its world premiere by Pioneer Theatre Company in Salt Lake City in January 2015. His O.
Henry-inspired musical Voice of the City (with music by
Elaine Chelton) was first presented in The York Theatre
Company's Developmental Reading Series Off-Broadway,
followed by a workshop produced by The Human Race Theatre
Company in Dayton, OH, where Dayton City Paper acclaimed it
as one of the best theatre experiences of the year.
Naughty/Nice, his satiric holiday musical with composer
Gerald Stockstill, was seen in Manhattan concerts at The
Players Theatre and Ars Nova, and was a finalist in the
National Alliance for Musical Theatre's Festival of New
Musicals.
Ken is a member of the Dramatists Guild and the advanced
BMI-Lehman Engel Musical Theatre Workshop. His songwriting
collaborators have included Sam Davis, Brad Ross, Marek
Norman, Roger Anderson and others. His work as a journalist

GERALD STOCKSTILL (co-writer / co-conceiver / composer) is a
composer, arranger and performer whose musical, Too Good to
Be True, with lyricist and co-writer Amy Coady, was
presented at the Theater League's Crossroads Musical Theatre
Festival in Kansas City. As an arranger and performer, he
co-created Musical Theater Heritage's revue, America in
Song, seen at the Belger Arts Center in Kansas City. His
musical, No Trouble at All, with lyricist Donna Kaz, was
featured in "5horts" at the New York Musical Theatre
Festival. His musical Food on the Aisle, also with Kaz, was
seen in a NYMF reading in 2010. He has musical-directed and
written special material and arrangements for numerous
cabaret artists in New York, including Amy Coady and Maxine
Linehan. Gerald is a proud alumnus of The BMI-Lehman Engel
Musical Theatre Workshop, and a member of the Dramatists
Guild.
